You obviously are not an absinthe drinker as this picture has NOTHING to do with the drink. This picture looks like it should be on a horror novel cover, it is hideous and disgusting to look at.

This painting does not follow the contest guidelines, it has nothing in it about absinthe. Anyone can rename a painting. There is no louching, no fairy, no cubes, no absinthe so why was it submitted anyways? If this wins eabsinthe has lost my business forever because it doesnt follow their contest rules about what to enter.

if your imagination is just in small frames how absinthe should look-is your own problem..lets open your eyes and mind!Absinthe is not just faries...it is much more deep:-)
Chaz Says:
July 30th, 2007 at 3:12 pm

Ouch! Michelle...shame on you..the guidelines...if this artist was inspired to paint this because of absinthe then so be it!! By the way, it is well renowned to be an Hallucinogen, nuff said...and I feel eabsinthe will not miss your custom or imagination x

Yes, sometimes absinthe is known to bring on hallucinations however if this is the type of images that are coming from the painter he should seek out pyschiatric help, not absinthe.
